The roles are well established: the teacher stimulates search and discovery, and students engage in search and discovery activities, actively and consciously participating in knowledge acquisition and personality formation. Thus, a partnership is being created to achieve the goals of the highest possible education.
If the traditional school emphasizes the act of teaching, which is the central role of the teacher, smart education emphasizes students and how they enrich, reinforce, correct, and transform cognitive experiences to enrich their knowledge. The teacher assumes the cognitive-affective-motivational-attitudinal role, thus creating a balance between learning and teaching.
The primary objective of smart education is to acquire and develop students’ communication skills necessary for adequate communication.
